Computers 4 Kids:

Computers 4 Kids has suffered a loss, Mel Poradun has passed away, he was our most dedicated volunteer and regularly surpassed 50 hours a week volunteering with us. We shall do our best to carry on what he helped start.

Our office hours have changed: we are now only open Monday through Friday 9 AM to 1 PM.

Low income families and their kid(s) are in need of computers for many reasons today. We want to help these families get a computer. If you are on a government supported program, food stamps, dshs, school lunch program, etc you may qualify.
You can apply on line or stop in and apply in person.

Please note that due to shipping costs we only serve Whatcom, Island and Skagit counties in Washington at this time.

Donations

We accept all electronics and related accessories basically "anything that plugs into the wall" (except appliances).
Donations are accepted from:
M-F 9 AM to 5 PM and by appointment
We also can arrange to pick up donations
Donations can be dropped off from 9 am to 1 pm in the alley behind Haywire.

Volunteering

To volunteer come in during our normal business hours and fill out a waiver, one of our volunteers will set you up on the time clock and give you a quick tutorial on tearing stuff down! We highly recommend that you bring your own safety gear
